What can I say that hasn’t already been said?

Editor’s note

I always knew I was meant to write.

But knowing doesn’t make it easier to start.

I often struggle with just writing because I’ve somehow convinced myself that there’s nothing I can possibly say that hasn’t already been said before.

So I let that stop me from writing altogether.

That isn’t writers block, it’s more like writers paralysis.

And that’s not what I want anymore.

I want to inspire and be inspired.

I want community. But I also want to allow my individuality to shine without having to water it down for a majority approval.

That’s why I created Have Nø Fear.

People talk about how it’s important to keep a clean space, because neglect allows dust (and creepy crawlers) to thrive in those undisturbed corners. I think of not chasing my dreams, or the person I want to be, the same way. When we don’t move toward the things that matters to us, stagnation sets in.

Lack of movement on your dreams breeds a bullshit personality.

So this is me choosing movement.

Movement toward clarity.

Movement toward work that impacts communities.

Movement toward the person I choose to be.

That’s what HNF represents. Movement.
